My mind shifts form numbness to crippling agony as if the weight of the world resides upon my chest… Perhaps I am best laid to rest.
A skeletal wreck of man.

Thanatos an impulse I am hopelessly drawn to return to the darkness from whence I was spawned.

This too shall pass. But when? But when will this finally end??

Burrowing, festering, deathly withering frantically eating away at me.
Trembling breathlessly, anxiously scouring, searching for my will to breathe
Seclusion, delusion hopelessly drowning as
The mind’s mire consumes me

From isolation I am reaching out to anyone that can hear me now.
Intrinsic sickness, Forlorn sorrow, stasis that threatens to swallow.
This Pestilence that plagues our kind. Duality within my mind.
To silence the swell of chaos I must make a choice.

Stairing at the void two paths lay ahead of me
Become one with darkness or continue to breath. Face to face with my demons I will not fold. I wont be lead to my grave.

Since Spenser Moore replaced Blackburn I’ve frankly appreciated Inferi far more. I feel that his drumming improves the overall sound of the band a great deal, but it’s probably just a personal style preference. Either way, Of Sunless Realms was a great foreshadowing of the epic Vile Genesis. Metallurgical Fire
